Abstract
Haryana Irrigation Phase-I and II Projects with World Bank Assistant .were taken up during the period from August 78, Are March, 92. These Project aimed at improving the employment irrigation facilities by taking measures to reduce loss' of water for in seepage in the Canal system. Haryana Irrigation phase-III Project comprising of similar component was also formulated. Before the approval of this project, the World Bank in consultation with Govt. of India proposed, to finance a composite Water-Resources Consolidation Project.
