Abstract

The Five Year Plan (1978-83) of Maharashtra aims at considerable progress towards achieving these goals. According to the Draft Five Year Plan, the above primary objectives should be attained while achieving a higher rate of growth of the economy than in the past, moving towards a significant reduction in the present disparities of incomes and wealth, and ensuring the country’s continued progress towards self-reliance.
