Evaluation Report on National Rural Employment Programme (NREP)

Abstract

The Programme Evaluation Organisation had brought cut a Quick Evaluation Study of Food for Work Programme - An Interim Report in 1979. This was followed by a final report on Food for Work Programme in 1980, In view of the usefulness of these studies and the assistance thus provided in restructuring this programme in the form of a new programme namely the National Rural Employment Programme, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development requested the Programme Evaluation (Organisation at the end of 1981 to undertake a fresh study of the restructured programme also.
