Abstract

Cultivation is, for oil practical purposes, entirely dependent an the monsoon, with the result that, excepting some areas, no second crop is taken. The territory is approximately 489 sq. Km. in area. The only plain area, is in the central portion, the area towards North-East, East and South being hilly. The slopes are generally plain. The river Danangango passes through the rocky terrain and is deep during certain periods of the year.
