Abstract

The survey & investigation works of the project have been completed and Project Report already prepared. The Board accorded administrative approval of .the project and decided that the Project Report should be sent to CEA for taking necessary action. Accordingly, copies of the Project Report have been sent to CEA and Planning Commission for necessary action. The- combined estimated cost of the project for State I & II amounts to Rs. 776 lakhs and the corresponding cost of generation is estimated to be 41.34 p. per unit. Though the scheme has been Included in the 7th plan, no work will be taken up on the project during 1985-86. Further investigation works like, drilling and collection of hydrological & meteorological data are in process.
